Only half of the Pac-12 will play in the postseason, assuming no 5-7 team advances based on Academic Progress Rate order used to fill a few slots for sub .500 teams. Six bowl teams is down four from a record 10 in the 2015-16 postseason when the Pac-12 went 6-4. The Cactus Bowl at Chase Field and perhaps Las Vegas will have to fill a Pac-12 contracted slot with a team from another conference. The saving grace will be if Washington makes it through to the College Football Playoff semifinals.
In our final Pac-12 ratings, the top three remain the same but there is movement for everyone else.
