It's a little over a year, the NCAA men's and women's golf championships will begin a three-year run at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale.
The Arizona State men, though, are not waiting for a home course advantage to make a run at their third national title.
"The fact it’s coming here next year heightens our motivation for this year," said third-year ASU coach Matt Thurmond, who has no seniors among his top golfers. "It would sure be nice to come here as a defending champion than as a potential champion.
