Arizona State golfer Olivia Mehaffey set a school record and Linn Grant won her fourth consecutive individual title Sunday, leading the Sun Devils to a victory in the Clover Cup.
Mehaffey shot 62 in the final round at Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, a two-shot improvement on the previous school record set by several players including Monica Vaughn most recently in 2017.
She had10 birdies and no bogeys to better her ASU personal best low round by three strokes.
“It feels incredible," Mehaffey said. "It's very special to be part of this amazing program. Part of the reason I came to ASU was because of our legacy so to break a record is a cool thing to do with so many incredible alumni.
