PHOENIX - Sun Devil Baseball (3-2, 0-0) dropped the first game of its four-game series against Ohio State (3-2, 0-0), 11-4, on Thursday evening at Phoenix Municipal Stadium.

ASU quickly manufactured a run out of the gates with Harris Williams stealing second after a leadoff HBP, moving to third on a deep flyout and scoring on an RBI groundout from Ryan Campos to take an early 1-0 lead. The Sun Devil offense would sputter from there.

After a cagey few innings, the Ohio State bats got hot in the fifth, taking a 3-1 lead off a triple and a home run.
