MILTON KEYNES, Buckinghamshire (England) – Recent Sun Devil Hockey graduate David Norris signed his first professional contract on Tuesday with the Milton Keynes Lightning of the new Elite Ice Hockey League of the United Kingdom.
Norris becomes the third Arizona State player in the last two years to sign a professional contract, and the first to head overseas.
"We're all very proud of David," said head coach Greg Powers. "He's worked hard for this opportunity and I'm sure he will make the most of it and get a great life experience over in the UK.
