FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – Emma Nordin dominated the 500 freestyle tonight, notching several accolades in one swim – including a Pac-12 crown – this evening at the 2020 Pac-12 Championships. Her time of 4:33.74 secured her a conference championship, NCAA "A"cut, the Arizona State record as well as the fastest time in the nation in the event.
"Today was the best prelim session we have had since I've been at ASU, and we followed it up with an outstanding finals," head swimming coach Bob Bowman said. "Emma Nordin showed real grit in winning the 500 for her first Pac-12 Championship while posting the fastest time in the nation this year.
