The Sun Devils and Mustangs were originally slated to play on Friday, February 3, but weather conditions in the Dallas area prevented SMU from traveling to Tempe.
After Wednesday's showdown with the Mustangs, the Sun Devils won't return to Whiteman until March 4 against Baylor, which will kick off a three-match homestand.
