TUCSON, Ariz. – The No. 21 Sun Devils slammed the door shut on the regular season with a 4-0 sweep of No. 48 Arizona on Saturday afternoon at the LaNelle Robson Tennis Center for their eighth consecutive win over the in-state rival Wildcats.
The Sun Devils (17-5, 7-3) finished this spring with their best record against league opponents since 2018. They've now won five consecutive matches against Pac-12 foes, and their latest against the Wildcats (16-12, 3-7) is the third straight sweep.
It was a battle in doubles play that lasted nearly an hour, as both schools traded wins on Courts 1 and 3.
