TEMPE, Ariz. – No. 20 Arizona State beach volleyball will kick off the 2020 campaign at the Cactus Classic in Tucson, Arizona against San Francisco and Boise State on Saturday.
The Sand Devils will begin the season in Tucson, where they played seven matches in 2019. Last season, they went 4-3 in duals played in Tucson. The team includes 13 returners and eight newcomers, including one transfer junior. Those returners helped ASU earn a 21-14 record in 2019, tallying the most wins in program history. The victory total beat out the previous high of 16, reached in 2017.
