No. 12 Arizona State baseball erupted for seventh runs in the 12th inning Thursday night in a 11-6 win at Utah.
Carter Aldrete doubled in the lead run in the 12th inning, opening the floodgates.
Hunter Bishop walked leading off the 12th then scored from first on Aldrete's one-out double to right at Smith Field. Erik Tolman walked then, with two outs, Sam Ferri doubled to right center, scoring two additional runs. Drew Swift and Trevor Hauver followed with a triple and single before Spencer Torkelson's 12th home of the season.
Alec Marsh pitched seven innings for ASU.
