ORLANDO, Fla. – Headed to the Round of 16!
Domenika Turkovic/Patricija Spaka, the country's No. 20 ranked duo in the nation, defeated Princeton's Daria Frayman/Grace Joyce, 6-0, 7-6, in the opening round of the NCAA Doubles Championships on Tuesday evening at the USTA National Campus.
After a swift first set, the Sun Devils turned in a gritty effort in the second, in which they erased a 5-3 Princeton lead. On the brink of heading to a decisive third set, the Sun Devils rallied to win four of the remaining five games.
