After a stellar season that included etching his name into a growing lore of Sun Pac-12 Freshman of the Year, Michael Mjaaseth has been named to the All-Freshman national team, according to an announcement by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
Mjaaseth finished his freshman campaign with a stroke average of 70.72 and was the fifth ranked freshman in the country, according to Golfstat. Since the GCAA began awarding the honor in 2009, Mjaaseth is the fourth Sun Devil recognized.
