TEMPE – The Arizona State men's tennis team will compete this fall in 12 tournaments, including four ITA events across seven states. ASU's slate see's the Sun Devils competing every weekend through November 12. The season opens Sept. 19 in Columbus, Ohio.
ASU returns a national standout in Murphy Cassone. Cassone returns to Tempe as the No. 1 ranked colligate tennis player in the nation by UTR and the reigning ITA Rookie of the Year. He was one of five men nationwide to earn a spot on the USTA Collegiate Summer Team where he was one of only two underclassman - and the only freshman.
