The Sun Devil men's golf team is off to a strong start at the 30th Amer Ari Intercollegiate held at the Hapuna Golf Course in Waimea, Hawa'i, as it shot a 13-under 275 and is in second in the eight-team field, while senior Blake Wagoner, playing as an individual, stole the show with a 9-under 63 to lead the 51-man field and set the course record by two strokes.
Wagoner had 10 birdies and just one bogey as he leads Noah Woolsey of Washington by three strokes. Sun Devils David Puig and Cameron Sisk are among those tied for third at 5-under 67.
