Sun Devil Men's Golf carded a 1-under 279 (66-70-71-72=279/-1) paced by Michael Mjaaseth's lethal 4-under 66, finishing in seventh and securing a spot in Monday's fourth round at the 2023 NCAA Championship at Grayhawk Golf Club. The top eight squads after Monday's fourth round will advance to match play.
The Pac-12 Freshman of the Year yielded just one bogey and fired five birdies on the course. His 66 is the lowest score by any of the 30 freshmen at this year's championship and is the lowest score by a Sun Devil freshman in the three years Grayhawk has hosted the event.
