INDIANAPOLIS – Two from Sun Devil Gymnastics have qualified for the NCAA National Championships on April 18 as individuals for their impressive performances at regionals: senior Jada Mangahas on bars and senior Anaya Smith on vault.
Individual qualifiers are the top all-around competitors and the top event specialist on each event from each regional who are not on an advancing team. The NCAA Championships are on April 19 and 20 in Fort Worth, Texas. Both Mangahas and Smith will be in the first semifinal at 1:30 p.m. MST/3:30 p.m. CDT. They will be rotating with Arkansas, with Smith competing in rotation three and Mangahas wrapping up the competition in rotation four.
