IRVINE, CA – Continuing her sensational senior campaign, Luca Petovary was named to the 2024 Cutino Award Watch List Thursday morning. The Peter J. Cutino Award, named in honor of the late Hall of Fame coach, recognizes the best player in Men's and Women's college Water Polo, an award that debuted in 1999.
The senior is one of 22 athletes to be named to the Cutino Award Watch List, which is nominated by varsity collegiate coaches around the country to honor the exceptional play this season. The winners of both the men's and women's awards will be announced on June 1, 2024 at The Olympic Club City Clubhouse in San Francisco.
