Late Game Heroics Lead to Saturday Sweep

TEMPE, ARIZ.- The No. 13 Arizona State (24-10, 5-6) softball team evened things up in their conference series with Stanford (23-10, 4-4). Late game heroics in both games of a Saturday doubleheader led the Sun Devils to the sweep. ASU, sporting camouflage "Salute to Service" jerseys, cruised to a 10-6 win in the first game. And in the second, Jazmine Hill walked it off with her seventh home run of the year in the bottom of the seventh inning giving the Devils the 5-4 victory.

Game one was a low scoring back and forth battle that blew up in the sixth inning when Alynah Torres sent one out of the yard with the bases loaded and Yannira Acuna followed right up with a homer of her own.
