Lacrosse Suffers First Loss of Season at No. 11 Stony Brook

STONY BROOK– After an early deficit to No. 11 Stony Brook (3-0), Arizona State Lacrosse (3-1) faced just a one-goal deficit at the half, but ultimately fell 20-9 to the Seawolves in the team's first road game of the season. The program-best 3-0 start was halted after today's loss, the first of the season for ASU.

Senior attacker Mina Scott led the way for the Sun Devils with four goals, all of which came before the half for a first-half hat trick.

In the first quarter, Stony Brook came out swinging with five goals in the first frame.
