Lacrosse Nearly Upsets No. 6 Michigan, Falls by One Goal

TEMPE – Arizona State lacrosse (3-2) opened their two-game homestand against ranked opponents with a heartbreaking 10-9 defeat to No. 6 Michigan (5-0) on Tuesday at Sun Devil Soccer/Lacrosse Stadium. ASU led 90 seconds into the game up until the final three minutes of the fourth quarter, after a five-goal frame for the Wolverines, and fell just short of pulling off the upset.

Head Coach Taryn VanThof praised her team's resiliency against a top-10 team in the nation, and emphasizes the opportunity ahead with No. 11 Florida in town on Sunday, "We're not peaking yet, and I think that's the best part.
