Jimenez Captures Women's Golf's Fifth Edith Cummings Munson Award

TEMPE, Ariz. – Arizona State women’s golfer Noemi Jimenez was named the 2015 Edith Cummings Munson Golf Award, the Women’s Golf Coaches Association announced today.

The Edith Cummings Munson Award recognizes an upperclassmen student-athlete and a WGCA All-American that has the highest cumulative GPA.

Jimenez, the 2015 Pac-12 Senior Scholar Athlete, graduated from Arizona State with a 3.80 GPA in an Interdisciplinary Studies major with concentrations in Business and Tourism Development & Management.

“This is a tremendous honor for Noemi and showcases that she excelled both on the course and in the classroom,” said women’s golf head coach Missy Farr-Kaye.
