TEMPE, Ariz. – To kick off the 2022 season, Sun Devil Volleyball will host the inaugural Webb-Burbidge Classic from August 26-27, a tournament named after two Sun Devil greats.
The tournament name honors Sun Devil legends Tammy Webb-Leibl (1983-1986) and Amanda Burbridge (1997-2000), two All-Americans who are in the Sun Devil Athletics Hall of Fame. Both will be in attendance and honored during the tournament.
A two-time first team All-American, Webb-Leibl is all over the record book: for career stats, the middle blocker is fourth in kills, first in solo blocks, second in solo blocks and fifth in aces.
