The future is bright for ASU basketball with recruit Sam Cunliffe joining the program next season.
SEATTLE – This trip to the Pacific Northwest has given coach Bobby Hurley another chance to evaluate Arizona State’s future. On Tuesday night – a day before the Sun Devils lost at Washington – he traveled down Interstate 5 to watch Sam Cunliffe, a guard/forward who joins the program next season.
In a matchup of the state’s top 3A teams, Cunliffe led Rainier Beach to a 76-69 win over top-ranked Garfield.
