Hockey Leads the #5 Dogs Through Regulation, Falls in OT

DULUTH, Minn. -- The Arizona State men's ice hockey team brought its high-octane offense to AMSOIL Arena on Saturday night against No. 5 Minnesota Duluth. Sophomore Jack Jensen and junior Lukas Sillinger collected ASU's two opening night goals in front of transfer netminder TJ Semptimphelter's first performance in the maroon and gold.

ASU (0-1-0) set the pace, scoring the opening goal on the power play in the first period and lit the lamp again only one minute into the third period. UMD (1-0-0) rallied after ASU's momentum and repeatedly tied the score, pushing the season opener to overtime.
