TEMPE - After having their historic season come to an end at the hands of Quinnipiac, Sun Devil Hockey (4-3-0) exacted their revenge and made program history, recording their first home win over a top-10 opponent.
In their first rematch since meeting in the NCAA Tournament, the Sun Devils didn't back down as they topped the No. 9 Bobcats (4-2-0), 5-3.
"We really needed this one and some payback for what happened in last year's tournament and it was such a team effort as we battled through it," said goaltender Evan DeBrouwer. "It is one of those wins that feels really good.
