TEMPE, Ariz. -- Ahead of the 2021-22 ECHL season, two Sun Devil Hockey alums, Tyler Busch and David Norris, signed professional contracts to continue their hockey careers in the ECHL.
On August 13, 2021, two-year captain, Tyler Busch, signed with the Fort Wayne Komets, who are coming off a historic season as ECHL Kelly Cup champions in 2021. Busch was an impactful player during his time in Tempe, as he played every game during his senior season. Most notably in his final year, Busch scored one of the biggest goals in the program's short Division I existence after netting the overtime winner to defeat No.
