NEW YORK, N.Y. – The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) today announced nominations for the 41st Annual Sports Emmy Awards® and HBO Sports' 24/7 College Football: Arizona State Sun Devils was nominated for Outstanding Edited Sports Event Coverage.
Narrated by Liev Schreiber, the program documented the lives of Sun Devil football head coach Herm Edwards, student-athletes, assistant coaches and more leading up to ASU's 38-34 win over Washington State last October.
2019 marked the first time the HBO 24/7 franchise showcased College Football. ASU was one of four schools featured during the season, joining Florida, Penn State and Washington State.
