Former Sun Devil Soccer standout Jemma Purfield has signed a contract to play for Leicester City Women (LCFC), according to an announcement by the team on Monday.
"I am very excited for Jemma," ASU head coach Graham Winkworth said. "As we put our stamp on this program here at ASU it is our goal to create pathways for top players to continue their careers at the very highest level. Leicester City are in WSL 1 which is the top league in England. I am so happy for Jem. She will smash it"
Purfield had a major impact in her two seasons at Arizona State.
