Former ASU quarterback Mike Bercovici gets rocked by big hit in Alliance of American Football debut

The Alliance of American Football has to be pleased that a big hit quickly went viral in the first quarter of its nationally televised league opener.

Unfortunately it came at the expense of former Arizona State quarterback Mike Bercovici.

Bercovici, starring at quarterback for the San Diego Fleet, dropped back and was completely blindsided by San Antonio linebacker Shaan Washington. The hit sent Bercovici's helmet flying as he also lost control of the ball.

Bercovici was seen running on the sideline after the hit and was back in the game for the next series.
