Former Arizona State quarterback lands at top SEC school

Former Arizona State quarterback Sam Leavitt has found a new home.

According to multiple sources, Leavitt is headed to Baton Rouge to play for the LSU Tigers, who has recently named Lane Kiffin as its head coach.

Last month, Leavitt entered the transfer portal after ending the 2025 season early for the Sun Devils when he underwent surgery on his ankle. He also did not show up to the team's banquet, and head coach Kenny Dillingham told the spectators that he 'wished him well in whatever his future may hold.'

Through two seasons with Arizona State, he appeared in 20 games, was 361-for-589 passing for 4,513 yards, and recorded 34 touchdowns.
