Another addition has been made to UL’s 2020 signing class, giving the Ragin’ Cajuns their new scholarship kicker.
The “paperwork is in” for Arizona State graduate transfer Brandon Ruiz, a UL source familiar with the situation said Thursday, one day after the Cajuns announced three others — receiver Reginald “Tonk” Johnson, and defensive linemen Jordan Lawson and Mason Narcisse — on National Signing Day.
Ruiz originally had been committed to Alabama while at Williams Field High in Gilbert, Arizona, where he was a MaxPreps All-American as a senior in 2016 and played in the 2017 U.
