TEMPE, Ariz. – The Territorial Cup Series Trophy is back with Arizona State after the close competition during the 2018-19 regular season ended with a tie and the Sun Devils' higher finish in the Directors' Cup Standings gave them the win.
The year ended with a 10.5-10.5 tie between ASU and the University of Arizona. The Sun Devils earned points from football, men's basketball, women's cross country, women's swimming and diving, gymnastics, men's golf, baseball, women's tennis, men's tennis and men's outdoor track and field. The half point came from women's basketball. This is the fifth win in the last six years for the Sun Devils.
