Eleven players or coaches from three games widely regarded as the greatest in Fiesta Bowl history are among the top 50 in bowl history, selected by a Fiesta Bowl panel.
The unranked list also includes five from Arizona State and two from Arizona.
Eleven coaches are included, reflecting the importance of that position in the college game.
The Fiesta Bowl founders are on the list in addition to the top 50.
Penn State's Shane Conlan and DJ Dozier, offensive and defensive Players of the Game are on the list from the 1987 Fiesta Bowl, ranked as the fifth best game in college football history by ESPN in 2019.
