San Jose, Calif – Leading wire-to-wire, No. 9 Sun Devil Water Polo secured its first MPSF win with a 15-10 result over No. 17 San Jose State (9-10, 0-3 MPSF) Saturday afternoon in San Jose, making it the sixth straight win for the Sun Devils, tied for the longest winning streak this year.
Arizona State (20-4, 1-1 MPSF) reached the 20-win mark for the first time since 2017, making it the seventh time in program history the team has achieved the mark.
For the 11th time this year, Luca Petovary scored 5+ goals in a game, netting six and setting another record in the process.
