TUCSON – Saturday was a day for personal bests with several Sun Devils setting lifetime marks and moving up in the NCAA West Region's descending order list, including Maggie Ewen's second collegiate record of the season, this time in the shot put, in Tucson at the Desert Heat Classic.
Ewen opened the day with a second-place finish in the hammer throw, but came back and threw a consistent shot put series that ended with her claiming another NCAA record.
"I didn't expect to break it today, but practices have been going well and we've been working on a lot of really good things, so my consistency been there," Ewen said.
