FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – The Sun Devil track & field squad opened up with 16 personal bests and an additional 10 collegiate bests at the NAU Friday Night Duels at J. Lawrence Walkup Skydome.
"Overall, when you look at the results, the men's team is what we expected being well balanced and more experienced," said head coach Greg Kraft. "They went about their business. The women were a continuation of last year, with the successes dominated by the field events."
Redshirt junior Maggie Ewen – who wrapped up her 2016 outdoor season as a two-time All-American – picked up where she left off, blowing away her previous personal best in the shot put.
