Day One Regional Recap: Sun Devils With Solid Start

The fifth-ranked Arizona State men's golf team got off to a solid start in the first round Monday at its NCAA Regional held in Bremerton, WA, at Gold Mountain Gold Club.

The Sun Devils shot 2-under 286 in the first of three rounds and is in second, seven shots back of Florida (9-under 279). Freshman Peer Wernicke's shot 3-under 69 which has him tied for second. Josele Ballester is a 2-under 70 and is tied for seventh.
