LOS ANGELES -- Sun Devil Baseball will make its 42nd NCAA postseason appearance beginning this weekend after Arizona State was selected as the No. 3 seed in the Los Angeles Regional. The four-team, double-elimination regional at Jackie Robinson Stadium in Los Angeles will begin on Friday. The Los Angeles Regional is hosted by UCLA – the No. 15 overall seed in the nation – and includes No. 2 seed UC Irvine (No. 23 nationally) and No. 4 seed Fresno State. The third-seeded Sun Devils will take on UC Irvine on Friday at 6 p.m. AZT. With a win, ASU would play the winner of UCLA/Fresno State on Saturday at 6 p.
