PHOENIX – No. 20/18 Arizona State (29-17, 14-8 Pac-12) fell, 12-11, to No. 7/7 Stanford (30-13, 17-6 Pac-12) in a highly-entertaining heavyweight bout in the second game of a three-game series at Phoenix Municipal Stadium in the battle for the top-spot in the Pac-12.
The game featured five different lead changes and three ties. Luke Keaschall homored twice and Luke Hill added a three-run shot and seven different Sun Devils recorded an RBI.
Keaschall got it started with a solo shot to center field to put the Sun Devils on the board down 2-1.
