Balanced Offensive Attack Leads No. 11 Water Polo to 4-0 Weekend

Box Score CLAREMOUNT – Another day of offensive firepower and fierce defense for No. 11 Sun Devil Water Polo led to two more wins at the Convergence Tournament Saturday in Claremont, California. This time, it was a 11-3 victory over Concordia-Irvine in the early hours of Saturday morning, and ending the weekend with an 20-6 win over Biola Saturday afternoon to go 4-0 for the weekend.

Arizona State (18-4, 0-1 MPSF) managed to outscore opponents 70-22 in four games in California, showing dominance on offense and on defense throughout the weekend.

Luca Petovary tallied 17 goals in four games, and surpassed 100 goals for the season, becoming the sixth player in MPSF history to tally 100 in a season, and becoming the first Sun Devil to do so.
