TEMPE, Ariz. – Freshman attacker Vanda Baksa again was named Newcomer of the Week by the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation for the sixth time this season. This is the third straight honor for her and fifth honor in the last six weeks. She is the only player in the conference with six individual honors this season, three ahead of UCLA's Maddie Musselman who has three.
Baksa assisted on four of the 12 goals in the 12-11 win over No. 14 Indiana in the regular season finale. She also recorded a goal of her own to extend her scoring streak to 17 straight games.
