Less than two years after transferring in from Alabama, junior quarterback Blake Barnett is planning to leave Arizona State, azcentral sports has learned.
Since he’s on pace to graduate this summer, Barnett should be eligible to play this season. Potential destinations are not yet known.
The 6-foot-5 Barnett – a five-star high school prospect – has had a rocky college career. After redshirting his freshman season, Barnett opened 2016 as Alabama's starter, a job he didn't keep for long.
