TEMPE, Ariz. — The No. 12 Arizona State wrestling team sent their senior class in celebratory fashion as they defeated the Cal Poly Mustangs 32-7 Friday night at Wells Fargo Arena in the Beauty and the Beast meet with Sun Devil Gymnastics.
The Sun Devils won all but two bouts in the meet, and four of their eight victories came by bonus points.
Cory Crooks started the evening off with an 8-4 decision over Wyatt Cornelison at 141 lbs. before No. 18 Josh Maruca (149) earned a victory by way of forfeit, earning six more points for the Sun Devils.
