Herm Edwards completed his college career at San Diego State, where Edwards' No. 25 Arizona State football team plays Saturday trying to start 3-0.
Edwards' college playing days included two stops at California with junior college in between and – after a redshirt year – working in a shipyard back on scholarship on a San Diego State team that went 10-1 in 1976.
