Not even No. 22 ASU (9-3, 0-1 Pac-12) could have predicted the outcome of last Sunday; an upset loss to rival Arizona (11-1, 1-0) 51-39 in Tucson.
Already off on the wrong foot in conference play, the Devils will have to rebound starting Friday in Utah against the undefeated Utes (12-0, 1-0), and then head to Boulder on Sunday to face the Buffaloes (10-2, 0-1).
While neither of the two opponents are seen as a threat at the national level, Arizona wasn’t necessarily a threat either given the two teams’ history, but anything can happen. So what is ASU getting themselves into?
