ASU Volleyball: Sun Devils Fall to Stanford

The Arizona State women’s volleyball team were unable to get off to a good start as they dropped the first set 25-13.

During the first set, freshman Ivana Jeremic got the Sun Devils five kills against Stanford. Setters Nicole Peterson and Kylie Pickrell managed to set all of Jeremic’s kills.

Jeremic was responsible for 6.5 of ASU’s 13 points and ended with a hitting percentage of .167.

Throughout the second set, the Sun Devils managed to pick up their pace a bit, but still fell short of Stanford 25-17.

Junior middle blocker, Oluoma Okaro, had four kills within the second set, while senior outside hitter, Cassidy Pickrell, had two kills.
