ASU Swim/Dive: Both sides fall to USC despite strong showings from underclassmen

Both the men and women fell to the Trojans in heavy losses, although to say the Devils swam poorly would be outright wrong.

USC, a perennially strong PAC-12 program, hosted the Devils this Friday morning in the start of a Sun Devil weekend on Friday in the City of Angels. ASU’s women fell to USC, 168-121, and the men of ASU fell by a 173-129 margin. Again–this should not be a disappointing loss.

The Trojan men placed third in the conference last year, and fourth in the women’s meet. As ASU is without swimmers they relied on last season, the underclassmen in the program are required to step up.
