No. 11 Arizona State softball will return to Farrington Stadium with a 15-1 record after four wins at the Orange and Blue Classic. On Saturday, the Sun Devils dominated both their meetings with Incarnate Word and UTEP.
Game One
The Sun Devils’ 8-0 win over Incarnate Word (2-8) was all about the three H’s; Hackbarth, Hackbarth and Holland. Maddi Hackbarth blasted another home run, this time the grandest of them all. Incarnate Word walked Jazmine Hill with two outs to load the bases, and that was a mistake. Hackbarth blasted a gland slam to extend the Arizona State lead to six.
