Arizona State shifted tight end Jay Jay Wilson to defense during practice Tuesday as its began preparations for Saturday's home game against No. 24 Oregon.

Wilson, 6-2, 256 junior, played linebacker as well as tight end at Valencia (Calif.) High School and was rated as the No. 10 athlete recruit nationally by 247 Sports for his prep versatility.

As a high school senior in 2014, Wilson had 56 tackles and two interceptions on defense.

ASU lost rush linebacker Koron Crump to a left knee injury last week against Texas Tech.
