TEMPE, Ariz.—The Arizona State sand volleyball team added two members to the 2016 team, head coach Jason Watson announced on Friday, with local products Natalie Braun and Bethany Wedepohl joining the Sun Devil program.
Braun, of Xavier College Prep in Phoenix, has gone undefeated in her first three seasons playing sand volleyball for the three-time State Champion Gators. As a freshman, she went 7-0, and went 8-0 in both her sophomore and junior seasons, where she was also named team MVP. She is currently playing in the Arizona High School State Sand Volleyball Championships. Braun also plays for RPM Sand Volleyball under coach Ryan Mariano.
